My band has now recorded, mixed, and mastered with Dereck at Quiethouse for two separate releases. We are absolutely blown away by his ability to keep the atmosphere light and fun while driving the project ahead with a practiced and well groomed structure.

Dereck’s mixing and mastering skills are thorough and creative with an emphasis on communication and collaboration from start to finish. Dereck really listens to the feedback that he receives through the process and will stop at no end to make sure that he understands and delivers what we are asking for (a true feat when we’re often trying to pin down nothing more specific than “vibes”). The suggestions, support, and patience that he displays through the entire process makes you feel like you’re always his top priority.

Dereck at Quiethouse mastered my last album and he was the best. The work was excellent, he was timely, he answered all my questions in a way that I could understand what went into the process, he helped me problem solve when I had little issues with distribution and he was there to master the album for vinyl when that time came (and did that promptly, with excellent results.) Description goes Dereck is my go to for mixing and mastering. He has mastered 5/6 of my original songs and I never have any complaints.
